Performance chips ...

Does anyone know wich is the best ones ?? or it all the same thing ..
and there is a real difference on the acceleration ??

I used both a Conforti and a Dinan in my 91 318is. Overall I liked the Conforti. I have the Dinan software upgrade in my 98 M roadster and like it. I think if I drove either without ever knowing it had a "chip", I would have never known the difference.

all depends on your position of "best"

Dinan will match the factory warrantee if anything goes wrong with their product and the BMW will not pay ... they are PRICEY and they generally are not the most aggressivey tuned

ALSO - I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TYPE OF MOTOR you are talking about

some that are for the i6 only

I plan on purchasing either the powerchip or the Autothority (since I have a v8)... soon... itching for more... gotta stop modding

I have a Dinan for my M-5 and it seems to be working fine. The service on the Dinan has been very positive, I would recommend this chip..

i went with the conforti chip..i have nothing but good things to say about it.
IMHO ...match it up with the conforti cai and you will be happy with the improvements
