What is the best way of listening to MP3s in a 2004 330 Ci? BMW's web site states that the HU is MP3 compatible, but I've read that the HU does not play MP3s from a CD. I looked into MP3 CD Changers and Alpine seems to be the best one. The adapter is not cheap though, $180. The changer itself is $280.
Does anybody have the same/similar system? Are you happy with it? Is the adapter for 2004 different from 2003 model?
I have a Sony MD player but I'd rather use a CD changer in the trunk.
