Okay, I'm in the market looking for a new set of tires for my M-5. The question is do we go with the "run flats" or do we do the dicy thing and buy a set of Michelin pilot sport tires. Any suggestions which would be the better set up ...

Thanks for your reply !!! [thumb]

run flats suck IMHO. they are loud and have poor traction. you probably didn't buy an ///M5 to dolly around. Put some real rubber on those gorgeous wheels and have fun with the exponentially better traction you will get in comparison to the run flats.

just my $0.02

i'm not terribly impressed w/ runflats. you have to install a tire pressure monitor, and once you do get a flat, you can only get it fixed once, then off you go dropping 2-300 bucks for a summer tire..

but once thing that's cool is not having to change a flat, when it's pouring out on the side of the highway..
